When Roll Out is Complete, Our Office Will be Filing Client Petitions Electronically for More Efficient and Speedier Processing. IMBRA Immigration Law News!: (05/16/12) The Re-Authorization of the IMBRA (& VAWA) U.S. Immigration Law (S.1925) has passed the U.S. Senate. Meanwhile, after debate and vote today, the U.S. House passed its own version of IMBRA (& VAWA), H.R. 4970. The Senate and House versions must be reconciled in conference committee in June and new votes taken in both Chambers, and then sent to the President for signature. The new proposed IMBRA Law will impose changes and new requirements. Please contact our office for more information. |
